Also me and my beau are doing a lot of idea casting back and forward – and there is so many possibilities coming up. and then off cause trying to convince people that they are missing out on something…

still I want to do the internet project on rudeness and if anybody has Thomas Madsen- Mygdal’s emailadress give me a shout ! – I have a really good idea for next reboot..

also the project on fictionary people – I want to do a blog about a complete redneck rockstar.. ( which off cause is fiction).. does anyone have a good name for such a project.

ohh yeah if I had all the money and time in the world I would go to Ladyfest Berlin – and attend the girl geek dinner in London… but let’s see…

what happend to 2 D games and netscape ?

7.28.2005 | 0 Comments

In the progress of making my network remarkable ( which is my new genuine task) I decided to download Trillian and use it running all my messengers in one. So far it seems really good. But trying to find my AIM screenname on the AIM webpage ( which was very confusing and I couldn’t .. aquanted me with an old friend “netscape”. it was really a competitor for the explorer at one point.. but what happened next? Mozilla came into the picture and now I don’t know a single person using netscape, which is a petty because I used to really like the product.

But also when I try to access the website (http://www.123hjemmeside.dk/) to work on my daughters webpage ( which is only for realworld friends and family) in my mozilla browser it ask me to run internet explorer 6.0 or higher. Now there is your main problem for mozilla,  I am not a techie, but how can they help it ? how have Microsoft done this ? or is it http://www.123hjemmeside.dk/ that has something wrong. ?

Also I would like there to be more 2 D games, especially platform games  or maybe it is me being incredibly vintage and retro ( and I DO think that Super Mario 3 is the coolest game ever made)..

Isn’t creativity going out of computergames ? all that is made is shoot-em-ups and strategy games. I would love to run a game developer squad with only females. Why ? don’t know.. no one will except for the games coming out if it would be very different from what they world sees today..

I think the future of computer games will be much more customized by the sole user ( or end consumer if you will) and online. But the customizing part is essential for girls when they waste time in front of a computer. The Sims has done a part of it. But the interaction layer should somewhat be developed even further. how ? I have no idea

also as a part of the incredible internet project with JC I have thought of a cursing pot so people would give something ( don’t know what yet) everytime they were being a total fuckward on the net. It would be like a police squad  and nobody likes that, so maybe the idea is not so good after all.

marketing from big firms ?

7.28.2005 | 0 Comments

just a quick thought.

I was wondering today if my generation ( who were kids in the 80’s and 90’s) were in particularly vulnerable to advertising and commercials?`

I recall sitting at my great grand mothers place and watching mtv “sabrina ” with “boys boys boys”… and it had so many commercials which you ( at that point in time) did not have in Denmark. there was no commercials on danish tv – because the only tv station was licensed by the government. it was only when another danish tv station ( a commercialised one) started that the commercials really came into our face.

But when I was a kid I was crazy about commercials. on TCC and Cartoon network. for candy, for barbies and my little pony’s and Macdonalds. I was told that the best meal I could have was a fast food restaurant. the best way to play was with barbies.

my point is that I am really worried about big firm marketing products at my babygirl.. I hope it wont be as necessary as it was for my parents to tell her that the best meal she could have was at home – and not Pizza or Macdonalds

why should every company have a blog ?

my exact question.. inspired by Sigurd Rinde

- first of all the when you do marketing for you company – you push your fine products out the consumers, this does not work anymore.. everything has gotten saturated

- with a blog – written by a blogger or a CEO ( doesn’t really matter) you show the customers the transparency of your company – that you are willing to hear what they say.. go ahead pop them some questions ! ask them about your products, and Im telling you they will answer.

this also creates a one-on-one customer satisfaction – especially if you show them that you hear what they are saying – talk about CRM for dummies !
this is the most effective customer management you will ever see… even though you are not managing anything at this point.

so why not compete on transparency ?

another question might be that ” why you should listen to what your customers are saying – and if you need a filter for what they tell you ? ..
well for people to comment on things you blog they must have been touched by what you have written! – they are thinking about it, absorbing it and reviewing it…

I am setting up an advisory board – where I will need hardcore bloggers, other entrepreneurs and anyone else who thinks they have something to give to a creative network email me at henriette@prograes.com and lets play !

now live from Bucharest !

here is very different from Denmark – very different indeed. it seems like the country is being “westernized” completely and the romanians does seem to have any plans at all to interpret this. I was very surprised that on the way to Bucharest from the airport you would see commercial signs everywhere… literaly USA x 10

also talking about cultural aspects it seems like the waiters at restaurants and bars favors the europeans instead of the Romanian.. which is a petty and I don’t know where this is coming from.

But Dragos Novac whom I met at reboot and I are hanging out together – going to a museum today , and he told me that he had ” copyright” written on each article.. I am so sorry I was not aware of this.. it wasn’t to offend any of you…

I have to go again.. the city is calling
