Im furious at the danish Government. the selfemployed people of Denmark is not in the maternity fond negotiations. The following text is taken from the pressrelease of Morgendagens Heltinder as an opposition to the danish governments decision:
” Dear women, it is important that every single person in Denmark contributes to the continuation of growth so Denmark becomes a better place to live. So if you get a good idea: make sure to patent it. make a company and sell all the stocks to investors, and get the investors to install you as CEO. THEN you are in the danish government maternity fond ( as an employee) and you will be able to secure the danish growth in the future - both through your kids, but also through your company which, unfortunatly, isn’t really yours anymore”
when the prime minister ( Anders Fogh Rasmussen) in his speeches to the selfemployed people says:
“these days the richness of Denmark is steadily increasing. and it is, when we are at our best, that we should make decisions which are key factors for our future. It is in this moment that we should enable the richness of Denmark to last for as long as possible. This is why the government has putted up some rather ambitious goals for Denmark. Denmark has to become a country who can compete on entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurs are important for the dynamics of the society, to challenge the established ways of commerce in Denmark.
We want to create another atmosphere and mentality in Denmark. We have to change the means of “succes”. we have to acknowledge succesful initiators and entrepreneurs. “ speech of the Primeminister on “VL-Døgn” 25. january 2006
talk about talking with two tongues.. I am very disappointed and I will initiate more projects to get the decision through. the government of Denmark does not know what they are up against, and they have no idea what they are talking about..
but that’s politicians.. my main concern is that if I want to have more babies.. I have to be an employee somewhere.. or close Toothless Tiger now that sucks big time ! - so the danish government has, again, showed that they have no idea what they are talking about… fuck it
