couchsurfing = dead ?
Pedro sended me a mail, telling me that it is time for can i crash to rise to other levels. Couchsurfing.com database is dead and from the email from the couchsurfing team it is unlikely to continue running and recover the database.
anyway I still want to do it as a blogger only community – and not taking any of couchsurfing’s previous space – I like it as geeky as possible.
now, my technical skills are not covering databases – but I doubt that a wiki can loose it’s data ? I mean you can just recover it, right guys ?
long live the wiki format… hep hep hep.
and couchsurfing team – I am sad to hear that you’re going to discontinue… people need you *s*

If the wiki data is lost or corrupted… well, either you fix it, or you have a back up, or it’s gone. Except for the Google caches perhaps.
