are we talking blogging or openess?

I had a conversation last night with this lovely chap about blogging, the tool and the preaching of it.

because it seems to me, that a lot of sites around the world are using blogging as an internal communications tool, which is fine!

but you don’t see any external links in any of these “communities”, which means that the content of the site is kept at the site. isn’t it the old N.Y times story over again ? where you want to open up the dialogue, but you would like to keep the content and the references on your own site…

is blogging as we know it allready changing and are we now suddently openess hippies?
