I have an announcement!

8.10.2006 | 0 Comments

I am proud to present the first design of Toothless Tiger.

we have chosen to aim at the tagline ” Social Software at play” – maybe because initially – that’s what we are all about.

also we have teamed up with Joachim Oschlag who is going to run a part of the consulting together with me.

So why Joachim ? because he is brilliant and we like him a lot. Then he is a true “mentality preacher” – argumenting the “mentality changing aspects of blogging” while Im doing the community/ marketing/ network part of it. Thomas is the technical wizard that we can’t do without.

so surf around at look at us -ain’t we pretty ?

new business: lesson 1 – be curious – I think ?

Lately I have been getting into the “salesperson” mode. Pushing and Pulling the best I can. getting more customers for Toothless Tiger

and so far, it has payed off. I have gotten a lot of contacts and meetings with potential clients, and I guess it is the first way to go…

completely old school – but hey ” I am knockin’ down doors all day long”…

and I don’t even see myself as a salesperson. I am a networker. I am a talker. but a seller ? NOO!

my approach has been to ” be curious”. it has resulted in a lot of feedback and knowledge from persons within the organisations whether they are interested or not.

and I actually like this kind of contact.

the best part is, that I have no real education in sales. I am just doing what seems right for me.

im being curious. asking questions, researching and showing interest.

and I am interested !

so is curiousity the way forward ? – I don’t know. But I’ll try so far.

when it stops working, I will try something else.

(btw Hugh Macleod drawing at the top – one of my favorites)

American people as I remember then

Earth of earthsworld.com has captured images of americans at county fairs and rodeo’s across the states…

even though I don’t want to generalise, then I remember some of these people from my trips to the US, – or people that look like them.

People I would describe to others as “odd” .

but it made my day… american diversity !
