creativity utopia
This year at the Lift conference Dannie and I have decided to put in a proposal for a workshop called “creativity utopia. We have done this on basis of ” well yeah it’s great to have different approaches, unusual thinking, and mysterious and creative ways” – but creativity is just so superhyped these days that one might think that creativity alone will save the world ( it won’t)…Â
My point is that deciding to be creative for the sake of “being creative” is not going to get you anywhere – it’s basically a bunch of hype and an overrated utopia of businessprocesses. Â It’s empty.Â
The “Henriette task” of this workshop, is to get you to realize what will take you to your own creativity – and not exactly creativity itself. Â I will give you my recipe on how i work around creativity. Creativity is interaction. I have stated that a thousand times. But how do you pick up the creative ball and run with it ? how do you get ACTION from A-Z without loosing touch ?Â
