{"id":366,"date":"2005-08-08T10:11:00","date_gmt":"2005-08-08T10:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/henrietteweber.com\/?p=366"},"modified":"2021-01-08T10:13:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T10:13:22","slug":"why-should-every-company-have-a-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/henrietteweber.com\/index.php\/2005\/08\/08\/why-should-every-company-have-a-blog\/","title":{"rendered":"Why should every company have a blog ?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspired by <a href=\"http:\/\/thingamy.typepad.com\/sigs_blog\">Sigurd Rinde<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I will try to answer the question &#8220;why should every company have a blog&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you have to ask yourself whether or not you should be using new tools in your communication. A blog is one of those new communication tools. Here are some of my observations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you do marketing for your company &#8211; you push your fine products out onto the consumers, this does not work anymore.. everything has gotten saturated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>With a blog &#8211; written by a blogger or a CEO you show the customers the transparency of your company &#8211; that you are willing to hear what they say. Go ahead pop them some questions ! Ask them about their products or company and they will be inclined to answer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This also creates a one-on-one customer service, especially if you show them that you hear what they are saying. Talk about customer relationship management for dummies!<br>This is the most effective customer\/relationship management you will ever see\u2026 even though you are not managing anything at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">so why not compete on transparency, relationships, and SEO?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another question might be that &#8221; why you should listen to what your customers are saying&#8221; &#8211; if you need a filter for what they tell you?<br>Well for people to comment on things you blog, they must have been touched by what you have written! they are thinking about it, absorbing it and reviewing it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inspired by Sigurd Rinde Today I will try to answer the question &#8220;why should every company have a blog&#8221;.
